If you are a NEW APPLICANT and would like to be placed on our email notification list for when applications open for 2027, and be able to sign up for Horse Care small group sessions in fall, contact Becca at 412-585-0383 or rebecca.shaw@ryyr.org for a tour before filling out the form below so that we can connect you to where your child best fits and answer any questions you may have in advance! If you have TOURED RYYR or are a RETURNING MENTEE and would like to be placed on our email notification list for when applications open for 2027, fill out the form below. Check our Events page in September for the sign up for weekly Horse Care sessions over fall/winter, and you are always welcome to contact us to schedule a time to come visit the horses!

2026 Term Information:

Mentoring at RYYR is currently split into 2 terms.

Term 1: May 4 - June 27

Term 2: July 13 - September 5

Weekly sessions are 90 minutes long and run for 8 weeks. Your child’s RYYR volunteer mentor will contact you prior to the start of the term to arrange dates and times for sessions.
